What type of animals do you board?
We board Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Rats, and Hedgehogs, and are happy to invite other animals as guests too. If you don't see your type of pet on the booking form, just ask, we may be able to accommodate.
Will Pet-Hotel provide food for my pet?
We will ensure your pet has a supply of hay and fresh vegetables each day. We ask owners to bring a good supply of their pet's regular dry food, because a change of food can cause tummy upsets for our little guests.
What size are your hutches?
Our purpose built hutches are ideal for your pet. Hutches for rabbits are approximately 3' wide x 1' 8" x 1' 8". Hutches only for guinea pigs are 2' 4" wide. Our cleverly designed hutches allow you to book a fabulous double sized hutch at almost 6' wide. Whichever sized hutch you choose, all rabbits and guinea pigs are exercised daily in our large, hard-topped out door runs.
Do I need to provide a cage?
Caged animals such as rats are to be brought in their own cages where they will stay in our warm insulated building, or in our home. Rabbits and guinea pigs are housed in our specially built hutches.
What are the drop off and collection times?
We are open for drop offs and collections from 2:00pm - 4:00pm Saturday to Sunday, and 9:00am - 11:00am & 2:00pm - 4:00pm Monday to Friday.
What if I need to amend my booking?
You are welcome to amend your booking. If you need to make a change, or update us on your drop-off or collection time, feel free to email us and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
What if I am delayed and cannot collect my pets when agreed?
Occasionally travel can be disrupted. We will be happy to continue taking good care of your pets. Upon final collection you will pay for the extra days stayed.
What if I need to cancel?
You can book in confidence. The deposit is refundable if you cancel more than 30 days in advance. In addition, we also operate a very fair cancellation policy during the coronavirus pandemic. Please see our COVID-19 page.
Do my animals need to be vaccinated?
Pet-Hotel recommends that your pets are vaccinated. However, all animals are accommodated separately, so cross-infection is very unlikely.
What if my pet becomes sick while at Pet-Hotel?
Pet-Hotel takes the health of it's guests very seriously, and we will give your pet the very best of care. In the event of illness we will contact you asap to discuss your wishes. If we cannot make contact with you, we will take your pet to our local vet. Please be aware that small animals live short lives, and health deterioration is not always apparent, especially as a pet ages.
How do I pay?
Bookings are secured by an online credit/debit card deposit of £10. We will email you a link to our secure payment page. To pay the balance, we will email you a link a few days before your arrival date.
What are Pet-Hotel's terms and conditions?

By booking at Pet-Hotel you agree to our terms and conditions.
Prices displayed are charged on a per day basis (e.g. Check-in Monday, check-out Friday = 5 days). A deposit of £10 is required to book, and the balance is due prior to you dropping off your pet.
Any pet not collected after the agreed collection date will be viewed as abandoned and re-homed after 7 days. The owner will be pursued for the full cost of the pet's stay while with us, and the associated costs of re-homing.
Pet-Hotel does not accept any responsibility for pregnancies as animals not part of a bonded group are always housed separately.
Owners must inform Pet-Hotel of any medical conditions, any ongoing treatments, and any dietary requirements of their pets.
If it is necessary to seek medical advice/treatment for your pet, vet bills will be reimbursed by the owners upon collection of their pet.
